It has been a very productive month- both in the constituency and in Parliament. Here is what I got up to.

This month, I:

Delivered my maiden speech in Parliament, focusing on the local issues affecting Tiverton and Minehead.

Met with my Transport Advisor, David Northey, to discuss plans for new and improved transport links across the constituency.

Joined the Public Accounts Committee in Parliament to help oversee the UK’s finances and scrutinise those working on behalf of the public.

Was elected as Vice-Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Farming.

Began my weekly surgeries with constituents in Tiverton and Minehead, as well as monthy surgeries in Wiveliscombe and Cutcombe Market.

Held Pension Credit Drop-in Sessions in Tiverton, with one to come in Minehead, to directly help pensioners with the claims process

Backed the Climate and Nature Bill in Parliament to help safeguard our natural environment for the future.

Appeared on BBC Politics South West to share my aims for the Tiverton and Minehead constituency.

Met with various charitable groups in Parliament, including Prostate Cancer UK, Epilepsy Research Institute, Auditory Verbal UK, and Care After Combat.

Met with the Veterans Minister, Alistair Carns, to pledge my support for veterans and armed forces personnel in Tiverton and Minehead.

Welcomed Liberal Democrat Leader, Sir Ed Davey, to the constituency, where we met with farmers from the Exmoor Hill Farming Network, the Exmoor Society, and local business leaders at the Cotie Innovation Hub.
